We are entering week 11 in our read-along with The Bible Recap. For context about this study, and important info, if you haven’t already read it, check out my explanatory post.
This week, the readings are below, plus I’ll continue to add a thread for Lent discussions during the season, and a prayer request thread.
Monday, March 11, Day 71: Deuteronomy 3-4
Tuesday, March 12, Day 72: Deuteronomy 5-7
Wednesday, March 13, Day 73: Deuteronomy 8-10
Thursday, March 14, Day 74: Deuteronomy 11-13
Friday, March 15, Day 75: Deuteronomy 14-16
Saturday, March 16, Day 76: Deuteronomy 17-20
Sunday, March 17, Day 77: Deuteronomy 21-23
Remember, the study started on a Monday, so for the ease of keeping weeks in line with TBR, the readings will continue be presented in a Monday-Sunday format. Feel free to comment on a thread when you’re ready, even if you’re in an earlier timezone (I’m on Pacific time in California.)
You can click each day above to find the discussion thread in the comments.
In closing
This week, we are continuing with the last book of the Torah. I watched this short summary of Deuteronomy from the Bible Project, recommended by TBR, and you might want to, too. These videos really do a great job of contextualizing the books, and this one was especially good.
Keep it loving, and don’t hesitate to ask tough questions. That’s what we’re doing here.
P.S.
I know there are several of us doing different reading programs right now. While I’m going to use the TBR timeline, others are welcome to discuss the OT with us, even if you’re in a different place. You can start a new comment thread under this post, or hop on another thread if you see something relevant you want to chime in with.
