I shouldn’t even explain myself anymore for my late posts, but here we are! Two out of three of my kiddos had graduations last Friday (one from preschool and one from high school) and it was an all weekend celebration. Theoretically, life is going to ease up a bit now. On that note, please read to the end for a little update!
If you’re new here you can find context about this study and important info in my explanatory post. Stick around to the end of this post for info on a chance to chat about the readings (later today!)
The readings are below, plus a prayer request thread, an engagement suggestion thread, and a general comment thread.
Monday, May 27, Day 148: Psalms 111-118
Tuesday, May 28, Day 149: 1 Kings 1-2, Psalms 37, 71, 94
Wednesday, May 29, Day 150: Psalm 119
Thursday, May 30, Day 151:1 Kings 3-4
Friday, May 31, Day 152: 2 Chronicles 1, Psalm 72
Saturday, June 1, Day 153: Song of Solomon 1-8

Remember, the study started on a Monday, so for the ease of keeping weeks in line with TBR, the readings will continue be presented in a Monday-Sunday format, although I added an extra Sunday since we missed several days. Feel free to comment on a thread when you’re ready, even if you’re in an earlier timezone (I’m on Pacific time in California.)
You can click each day above to find the discussion thread in the comments.
QUICK UPDATE
Especially for the God Talk/Book Club folks, but really for anyone interested, I’m going to be doing short episodes on the Theologyology podcast to break down some takeaways from each of the letters in The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis. If you don’t already subscribe over there, please do!
P.S.
I know there are several of us doing different reading programs right now. While I’m going to use the TBR timeline, others are welcome to discuss the OT with us, even if you’re in a different place. You can start a new comment thread under this post, or hop on another thread if you see something relevant you want to chime in with.
